BSB50215 Diploma of Business

Overview

The BSB50215 Diploma Business of is the ideal course to either develop skills to facilitate a career within the business sector or prepare for transition into higher education. Students will gain the necessary skills and information to launch their careers in a variety of business and management roles. This qualification is also suitable for those seeking to start a new business, providing a broad overview of tasks associated with business management.

For participants with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop into employment opportunities, the Diploma of Business offers a broad range of units that include human resource management, administration, finance, innovation, and marketing.

According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, demand for office management roles is expected to experience stable growth over the next five years. This is a very large occupation with job opportunities available across a number of industries including construction, professional services, and education and training.

This qualification is facilitated by expert teaching staff who have a high degree of industry connection and are able to guide you through your studies. You will develop specialised knowledge which includes communicating with influence, project work, workforce planning management, and risk.

Training Location and Course Delivery

All courses offered by Stark are delivered in a flexible format usually as class-based training schedule to assist students with more comprehensive subjects and assessments.

The certificate assessments are competency based and conducted open book comprising both theoretical and practical exercises.

The RPL assessments are designed for those people currently working within the industry and want to be assessed for the qualification based on their current experience and skill levels.

Funding Eligibility

Eligible participants under Higher Level Skills – General Construction program:
(a) must be:
  • an eligible worker, including relevant clerical, administration and professional staff whose employer is part of the building and construction industry; or
  • an unemployed eligible worker
(b) must be:
  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen; or
  • a permanent resident of Australia; or
  • a holder of a refugee or humanitarian visa; and
(c) must:
  • permanently reside in Queensland; or
  • be permanently employed in Queensland; and
NON eligible Participant under this Agreement are:
  • an employee of any Authority (excluding employees of an Indigenous Council that is a Principal Contractor); or
  • eligible under the CSQ Apprentice Advance+ Program; or
  • currently enrolled and participating in a school program; or
  • contracted trainers and assessors or existing workers of any RTO; or
  • already funded by an Authority or other such source for delivery of the same training being undertaken as part of this program; or
  • previously been funded under this program in the same program period

Course Fees

Student Contribution Fee: $500

The full fee for service charge of this course: $4,000

Units of Competency

The BSB50215 Diploma Business comprises a total of 8 are electives. You must be deemed competent in all 8 units to attain the qualification.
